John Jack reissued this album in 1993 as part of a series based around recordings he worked on together with emil Shallit of Melodisc Records. The original master tapes were lost, and this album, which covers the famous Christie Brothers sessions from 18 June 1951 to August 1953, was re-mastered from original 78s, acetate discs, and the 45 rpm EP in the case of the 1953 session. Apart from the Melodisc sessions, the 4 tracks 10-13 come from a live performance acetate, and track 3 was originally rejected and appeared here for the first time.
